The second floor of the Mauch Chunk Museum is home to the Cultural Center, a recently restored multi-use facility may be rented for weddings, wedding receptions, political rallies, fund raisers, cultural conferences, meetings, educational forums, holiday parties, job fairs, and youth events.

The 40 ft. wide by 60 ft. long room features a 30 ft. ceiling, period decorated walls, a beautiful hard wood floor, and front and rear stages. The front stage area features a theatrical lighting system, amplification equipment, rear screen projection equipment and an antique piano. The rear stage is lighted by a triple faux stained glass windows and houses a kitchen. The room is fully heated and air conditioned.

Seating and table capacity is 150 people. Catering and music are available.

Accommodations are available across the street at the recently renovated Whitehurst Guest House in East Jim Thorpe, the Broadway House Bed and Breakfast and two blocks away at the Inn at Jim Thorpe.

The Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Center is housed in the former St. Paul’s Methodist / Episcopal Church, constructed in 1873. The Cultural Center is on the second level and is not handicap accessible.
